How to Use Noticing to Shift Your Patterns

Welcome back to Calmer Conversations. In last week’s episode, we talked about how noticing—especially through the lens of therapy or venting—can sometimes leave us stuck in the same loops. This week, we shift that lens entirely. I walk you through how noticing becomes a powerful tool for change—not through shame, judgment, or urgency, but through gentle, curious observation. You’ll learn what it means to turn inward, to notice your own thought and emotion patterns, and how to gently zoom out so you can start to see your brain’s “lines of code” for what they are: practiced thoughts, not ultimate truths. If you’ve ever wanted to shift your habits, self-talk, or emotional responses—but without pushing or forcing—this episode is your invitation into a new way of working with yourself.
